We collect your name, email, date of birth (for age verification), and SAT performance data to provide personalized learning. In our mobile apps, we also collect game progress data (hotspot completions, drill results). We collect usage data (pages visited, time spent) to improve our service.
2. How We Use Your Data
Your data powers adaptive learning, tracks progress, and generates analytics. We never sell your personal information to third parties.
3. COPPA Compliance
Users must be at least 13 years old to create an account. We verify age through date of birth at registration. Users under 13 are blocked from creating accounts and no personal information is collected or stored for blocked users.
4. Student Privacy (FERPA)
We protect student educational records in accordance with FERPA. Student data is used solely for educational purposes.
5. Data Security
We use encryption, secure connections (HTTPS), secure token storage, and database row-level security policies to protect your information. Passwords are hashed using bcrypt.
6. Account Deletion
You can delete your account at any time through the in-app settings or by contacting us. Account deletion permanently removes all your data including practice history, game progress, and personal information. This action cannot be undone.
7. Your Rights
You can access, correct, or delete your data at any time. Contact us at support@learnerlabs.app to exercise these rights.
8. Data Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with cloud service providers (Supabase, Vercel) for application operation, linked parent accounts for minor users (ages 13-17), and when required by law.
